We guide many of our clients toward letterpress for their printed business collateral. Highly tactile, refined, and capable of printing on incredibly heavy stock, each piece feels like a small work of art—business cards can even double as ninja stars or scrape your frosty windshield.
There's a unique sensation when handling letterpress printing: a weight, gravity, and seriousness that makes these materials hard to discard. This makes sense, given the number of artworks printed this way over centuries. Our attorney and professional services clients appreciate the hands-on, unslick feel of their collateral, and we've also developed boxes and wrappers that leverage the benefits of short-run letterpress printing.

Unusual Applications
Making traditional communications novel is the best part of the job. See an example of special die-cut letterpress turned into a unique presentation wrapper.
We've made many holiday cards, but the one for Gordon Thomas Honeywell featuring winter themes and ending with a QR code was especially memorable. That QR code directed readers to a hidden webpage with information about a food bank the firm partnered with. Nice!

As part of a larger presentation system created for Thomas Jacobson Construction, we designed a special letterpress-printed and scored box—clasped with a finishing nail—that wrapped around gallery cards showcasing various projects suited to the audience it was meant for.
